Fall Decorated Christmas Tree

We couldn't wait for Christmas so we decorated our 7.5 foot evergreen Christmas tree with pumpkins, berries and fall foliage!

We added lanterns with flickering flame battery powered candles
and created a pumpkin and leaf ring around the base of the tree.

Below are items shown in this video and links to
purchase from our online store.

To add a cozy feeling we added two lanterns to the tree
the large lantern holds a flameless motion candle

we recommend the 7 inch size for the middle lantern in our
lantern set and a tea light for the small lantern

The lanterns are from our Metal Lantern Set of 3. The small and medium size lanterns are perfect size
to add to a tree.  The large size could be decorated with florals and ribbon topper made from
stems used in the tree and placed on a mantel beside the tree.

Fall Porch Decorating

Here are some great Fall Porch Decorating Photos
we found while browsing the Internet, and some
quick suggestions from the Shelley B staff

Don't have the time or budget for a complete porch makeover?
Then why not try one or two ideas shown below.
~~~~~~~~~~~
1.  Coordinating fall garland, wreath and sprays
at your front door is a great start to any seasonal porch decorating.
If you can't find a garland and wreath set, try using lots of  fall floral stems or sprays
add them to an inexpensive grapevine garland and grapevine wreath.
Additional sprays in urns and window boxes will
create a look like the one shown below.
2.  Use an old chair as the stage for a collection
of fall pumpkins and flowers
3. Want to create your own front door decoration,
without taking on a wreath making project?
Use a large wall pocket
and fill with fall stems.
Add some styrofoam to hold stems in place
4.  Add fall themed pillows, throws, quilted wall hangings  to
front porch rockers and porch swings
5. Burlap makes a great fall embellishment
for your porch urns
6. Fall Pumpkins can display your house number.
Cut numbers out of the pumpkin or use numbers
from the craft store.
7. Window boxes make great containers for
fall harvest items, like
pumpkins, gourds, flower and foliage stems.
8. Old furniture on the porch
Fall decorating
Our Summer Mantel:
This summer our mantel held a blended collection of summer favorites
potted red geraniums, book boxes (great for adding height variations to your groupings),
boxwood topiary, moss balls, and our very popular mermaid wall art
propped against a framed large canvas painting of a sailboat.
I added some soft lighting with a strand of white icicle lights.
(yes icicle lights in the summertime)
Instead of draping the lights over the mantel edge, I laid the lights
flat on the mantel.  The white cord and the multiple strands of lights
brighten my display and was easy to arrange around our mantel decorations.
A pretty collection we enjoyed all summer long, but the changing weather brought a new look
to our living room.....
Our Fall Mantel:
Just last week we received our shipment of  new fall garlands that I  found in one of our suppliers catalogues. I couldn't wait to create a fall mantel grouping around this awesome autumn themed garland.
A bendable twig base, filled with green, red and yellow leaves, red pip berries in two sizes and acorns fill this harvest themed garland.
Great natural colors and blend of fall themed accents.
I wrapped a strand of our
around the fall garland
I added a pair of garden birds on pedestal bases
to the center of the mantel
Pretty details on this set of bird statues
These would also be cute in a vintage birdcage!
Two Boxwood Cone Topiary  Trees  from the RAZ Imports Grande Estate collection
balance each side of the mantel.
